Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Kalam Mazboot ("we", "us") for using kalammazboot.com (the "service"). By signing in, you agree to them. If you use the service for a company or agency, you agree on its behalf and confirm you're allowed to.

1. The service

You upload audio, video or a link, and we produce subtitles (SRT, VTT and text) that you can edit and download. Transcription is done by machine and will sometimes be wrong. Always review subtitles before you publish them.

2. Your account

• You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• One free account per person. Creating extra accounts to get more free minutes isn't allowed.
• You must be at least 16 years old.

3. Your content

• You own it. Your uploads, transcripts and subtitles stay yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to run the service for you, including sending audio to our transcription provider.
• You must have the rights. Only upload or link to content you own or have permission to use, and that you're allowed to have transcribed. This includes recordings of other people: make sure you're allowed to process their voices.
• We don't train on it. We don't use your content to train AI models.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to:

• process content that is illegal, or that you obtained or recorded unlawfully;
• infringe anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights;
• harass, threaten or spread hate against anyone;
• get around usage limits, resell access, or scrape, overload or attack the service;
• build a competing service from our output or code.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Plans, minutes and payment

• Usage is measured in minutes of audio, based on each file's real length. Each plan includes a number of minutes per month, and unused minutes don't roll over unless the plan says so.
• If a transcription fails on our side, its minutes aren't charged.
• Paid plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Prices may change; we'll tell you at least 14 days before a change affects you.
• Refunds are handled case by case; contact us if something went wrong.

6. Availability

We work to keep the service running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change features, and we'll give notice before removing anything important to paid users.

7. Third-party services

We rely on providers such as ElevenLabs for transcription and Google for sign-in. Our Privacy Policy explains what data they receive.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for errors in subtitles you publish without reviewing. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. When an account is closed, its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
